Toshiba Group has issued its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report since fiscal year 2004. The CSR Report also incorporated the annual Environmental Report, which dates back to 1998. The Environmental Report includes a feature "Analyzing Environmental Impacts of Products and Services and Business Processes of Toshiba Group to Enhance Eco-Efficiency" covering material, energy, water and chemical substances inputs to business processes, including manufacturing. Separate features address measures to reduce the environmental impacts at each phase of the product lifecycle, mitigation of climate change, management of chemicals and efficient use of resources, and the Corporation's Environmental Vision 2050. In 2005 Toshiba published a Chinese edition of the CSR Report, alongside the Japanese and English editions.
