The round table will discuss the draft law "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Kyrgyz Republic" (amended to the regulations governing the protection of the environment).
The bill has been prepared in order to implement the UNECE Convention "On Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters relating to the environment" and the transition program of the Kyrgyz Republic to Sustainable Development for 2013 - 2017 in implementing the tasks of creating mechanisms for effective interaction with civil society.
This draft regulatory act is aimed at the development of mechanisms to protect the rights of man and citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic on the protection of the environment, which will contribute to the implementation of measures to strengthen the democratic principles of respect for human rights in the Kyrgyz Republic, reported in the LCD. The event will be attended by representatives of government agencies and non-governmental organizations.
