Aarhus Centres: The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the annual meeting of the Aarhus Centers in Dushanbe

Delegates from Turkmenistan participated in the annual meeting of Aarhus Centers held in Dushanbe from October 17th to 18th 2023. The Aarhus Center in Ashgabat regularly participates in such meetings and shares its experience and perspectives. During this meeting, Turkmen delegates emphasized the need to periodically renew the information campaign and expressed their desire to expand activities by establishing new Aarhus centers in Turkmenistan. Turkmenistan acceded to the Convention on April 30, 1999, and the Aarhus Center in Ashgabat was established in 2012, currently situated in the building of the National Institute of Deserts, Flora and Fauna under the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.
