Advocates from around the United States will gather in Alexandria, Virginia, 12-15 May 2005, to share their experience of the current state of Right to Know (RTK) in America. The conference attendees will be presented with the results of a participant survey of U.S. practice and explore communication and organizing strategies, technologies and other innovations being used to promote RTK. Topics will cover the integrity of science, freedom of information, the National Environmental Policy Act and the U.S. Toxics Release Inventory. The conference is co-sponsored by the Washington, D.C.-based Bauman Foundation and Beldon Fund.
