CONVENTION ON ACCESS TO INFORMATION, PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN

DECISION-MAKING AND ACCESS TO JUSTICE IN ENVIRONMENTAL

MATTERS

 

AARHUS, DENMARK, 25 JUNE 1998

 

LUXEMBOURG: RATIFICATION

 

 

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary,

communicates the following:

 

The above action was effected on 25 October 2005.

 

The Convention will enter into force for Luxembourg on 23 January 2006 in accordance with

its article 20 (3) which reads as follows:

 

"For each State or organization referred to in article 17 which ratifies, accepts or approves this

Convention or accedes thereto after the deposit of the sixteenth instrument of ratification, acceptance,

approval or accession, this Convention shall enter into force on the ninetieth day after the date of

deposit by such State or organization of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or

accession."
