The Regional Presentation – Working Meeting of the REC Caucasus Project “Promotion of Media-Civil Society-Government Environmental Dialogue in the South Caucasus” being implemented with the financial support of the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) will be held on September 22-23, 2006 in Shindisi, Georgia.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The purpose of the Project is to strengthen the capacity of environmental journalists and increase the awareness and commitment of decision makers towards sustainable development, environmental protection and biodiversity conservation in the South Caucasus.
After introduction of planned activities within the framework of the Project, the media and NGO representatives will be given an opportunity to make suggestions for its successful implementation as well as to establish contacts and partnerships with professional journalists, governments, business, environmentalists and NGOs of the South Caucasus.
All interested are invited to take part in the Presentation/Regional Meeting of the above project.
