The article refers to the recent meeting of the Working Group of the Parties to the Aarhus Convention held in Geneva in the beginning of April 2017. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Georgia. During the Working Group meeting all three pillars of the Aarhus Convention were addressed. It was highlighted that the implementation of the Convention by Parties needs to be further supported and encouraged. During the meeting, the participants also agreed on the draft Budva Declaration to be approved during the Meeting of the Parties in September in Montenegro.
