Article 15 of the Aarhus Convention on review of compliance, requires the Meeting of the Parties to establish arrangements for reviewing compliance with the Convention. The Compliance Committee, established for this purpose, considers any submissions made by the Parties, referrals by the secretariat and / or communications from the public, as well as any other information relevant to possible non-compliance. At its 5th meeting it will, in particular, consider any new information related to the five communications from the public currently in progress.
