The Contact Group on Compliance and Rules of Procedure was established under the Working Group on Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers to develop first drafts of the rules of procedure and compliance mechanism for the PRTR Protocol. The upcoming meeting will be focused on the draft compliance review mechanism. Comments by delegations on a proposed mechanism can be access on the web among the informal documents to the third meeting of the Working Group: http://www.unece.org/env/pp/prtr.docs.htm.
